Lesson Plan 2 part 2

For my second lesson plan I will teach 1st grade math- place value. This lesson plan is design to use a smart board and a little kahoot quiz. During my lecture I will used smart board to introduce new topic two digit place value. Student will also used a base block to create different number for more hands on learning, so thy can feel and tough different block and more understand the concept of place value. This lesson is places for all students.

For my planned technology tool I used 2 different one.
First is Microsoft Lens. Lens can use everyone with disabilities, ELL student, or student with visual problems. Lens is an application with can be dowloaded on student devise. Then student can take picture of a smart board, book page or screen form computer. This application will convert the picture to a world or PDF document. Student can add this document, translate it to the different language or make it larger. They can use this for taking notes from smart board and coming back to them. It is very easy to used so even first grader can use it.

Second is TapTapSee. TapTapSee is application on devise which can help ELL with learning same as students with visual problems. This application take picture of object and a voice will describe this object. In my math class, student will be able to use it, take a picture and it would describe a base ten block. It will say an amount, color, length and name of the object. For ELL student, it is good tool to learn descriptive word and their vocabulary can increase.

Limitation of these application would be their usage in math. there is not lot to take picture and know the meaning of it. However , better usage would be in science or language arts.
In my own experience, I would love the TapTapSee application when i was ELL student. I would learn quicker.
