Who Knew Testing Could Be FUN?

I ended up choosing Go Formative as the assessment tool for my Lesson #2. I originally picked this tool because it said it would be great in a one-on-one math session which sounds great for my focus in math. Playing around with it, there are so many options available in just the free version that it's actually shocking. Signing up is very easy, you're not bombarded with deals that you can buy, and you can even search for what standards you have to follow so they're readily available to you. You can choose between a whiteboard that kids can draw/type in to explain their problem-solving skills or show their work, with a live update on what they are drawing to your screen. There are multiple choice, true or false, multiple selection, short answer, and essay. If you wanted to pay for more you can allow students to submit a voice response, do a category question, graph a math equation, order a sequence, and even fill in a numeric equation. You can assign how many points each question is worth, attach the specific standard that problem works with from when you picked what standards you are aiming for when you first signed up. There are a lot of options for how you want to see the results too but that can be a whole other paragraph. Sharing is made easy with a link that I've attached here, or you can go to the website GoFormative and type in this code (NVFYHC) to take my short quiz.

Overall, I love this tool and I only spent one class period playing around with it!
